Reznik Focus Center Mission
Founded by Dr. Mikala Reznik, PT, DPT, ICP, CRNC in July 2022, Reznik Focus Center in
Odessa, TX was born from a deep passion to bring advanced, holistic neurofeedback and
functional wellness to the Permian Basin. With over 20 years of clinical experience—including inpatient, outpatient, home health, pediatrics, orthopedics, and rehabilitation—Dr. Reznik launched the Center to address complex challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, brain fog, chronic pain, trauma, addiction, and non-peak performance, all through an integrative,
person-centered model.
Driven by her mission to deliver “Hope without Side Effects,” Dr. Reznik introduced IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN) to the region—an innovative therapy that supports brain restoration and enhances mental clarity. To expand on her whole-body approach, she later incorporated Sunlighten Infrared sauna therapy and Odessa’s first BTL Emsella Chair, followed by the BTL Emsculpt Neo, ultimately offering BTL Core-to-Floor protocols that are unique to Odessa and the surrounding area.
Reznik Focus Center continues to lead the way in bringing cutting-edge technologies to West Texas. Most recently, the Center became a Legacy Partner with Cynosure Lutronic’s new Accufit—a revolutionary bioelectric muscle activation device with no regional equivalent. These offerings provide much-needed access to advanced treatments that would otherwise require
travel to major metro areas like Dallas, Austin, or Houston—an option not feasible for many.
Since opening, the Center has served thousands of clients across the region—from athletes and professionals to first responders and individuals recovering from trauma. Dr. Mikala Reznik, founder of Reznik Focus Center, is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with over 20 years of clinical experience in both traditional and integrative care. As an IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback Certified Provider and Mentor, she offers personalized treatments that restore nervous system balance, improve function, and promote whole-person wellness, embodying her philosophy of hope without side effects and natural solutions for modern problems.
Blending her background in acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy with specialized certifications in dry needling, Kinesio Taping, Graston Technique, and posture correction, Dr. Reznik meets each client with skill, empathy, and a holistic mindset.
A dedicated educator, she has taught for over a decade at Odessa College and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, shaping future healthcare professionals through courses in pediatrics, orthopedics, pathophysiology, ethics, and communication.
Deeply rooted in the Permian Basin, Dr. Reznik actively gives back through leadership roles with local nonprofits, her church, and the Odessa Toastmasters Club. She is a mother, mover, and mentor whose mission is to uplift her community and empower others to live vibrant, intentional lives through faith, movement, and care.
